| Standard y-hose looks fine | > |
| But underneath is the leak | |
| Gunk inside | |
| Order new part from Viper performance, not as thick as some other replacement y-hoses (don't forget to order stainless worm drive clamps Norma TC16-27) | |
| Nice new part | |
| First remove hose from DV | |
| You can see the 'hockey puck'(PCV) and reach the clamp | |
| Remove the clamps and the y-hose. (and find out there's enough gunk in the hoses :( | |
| Disconnect the vacuum line from the DV and remove the DV to get the new hose easy to the 'hockey puck' | |
| Tighten the clamps and reconnect the DV | |
| A lot of gunk in the hose | |
| Nasty hole | |
| The plastic hose broke just underneath the y-hose. Time to replace it. The top was going to manifold but capped in brakebooster mod in pic 5 as #3. | |
| Removed the unneeded t-piece and connected new hose. You can see also the crankcase part had plastic that was eroded and broken. | |
| Hose connected to the y-hose | |
| After minor modification of cap it fits fine. | |
Easy enough for everyone that can hold a screwdriver.
